Dealing with COVID-19

We at Stillwater and our sister venue Black Cow Bistro are doing all we can to remain as safe as possible for our guests and our staff. We are staying vigilant and up-to-date with any government advice and recommendations.

Rest assured we have the best practice policies and procedures in place and if you would like to discuss any of these or know more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via any of our channels. Our industry is really hurting right now, as are a lot of others and we are doing all we can to be supportive and kind to one another. Some policies we have in place so you’re informed as well:

– High level of personal hygiene amongst our team, regular hand washing,
hand sanitising and cleaning procedures are in place

– Sanitising all tables for our guests prior to seating

– Removi

ng some tables in all dining areas to ensure enough space between guests

– Any team member who feels unwell is asked to stay at home

– Removed sugar bowls and replaced with individually wrapped sugar sticks

– No longer accepting keepcups/reusable coffee cups

– Removed salt and pepper from the tables and only provided upon request then sanitised after use.

For those that have continued to dine with us and are in the coming weeks, can we just say how incredibly grateful we are, thank you! We will do our best to keep you and our team safe. All we can ask is for our community to look after each other, SHOP LOCAL and do the best we can in the weeks, month to come. Be kind to each other and we’ll get through this. We Tasmanian’s are a resilient bunch, just look at the weather we experience, ridicule from the “mainland” and bad jokes we endure. We’ll soldier on and be confident we can get through this.
