We’re still toasting our recent success at Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine’s 2016 Awards.
Not only was our wine list named Best in Tasmania, but we also took home the gong for Best Listing of a Region’s Wine (also in Tasmania).
Restaurant Manager and co-owner Bianca Welsh travelled to Melbourne to accept the silverware on behalf of Sommelier and husband James Welsh, who was touring New Zealand’s ski slopes and wine regions.
We believe our list of vino shows off some brilliant imported drops, but more importantly emphasises the great work of Tasmanian producers.
James has made this listing of emerging and well-established local winemakers a priority.
His experience, knowledge and effort has clearly been recognised by the internationally-renowned Gourmet Traveller, and we couldn’t be happier as a business striving to deliver the very best in regional produce to guests.
